Are funeral plans a good idea for me?

Funeral plans are specific to you, your consultant will be able to provide you advice based on your circumstances. In some cases, if you have savings or life insurance you may not need a pre-paid Funeral Plan.

It is understandable that your circumstances may change. Most providers will allow for you to add or remove features; however, it is important to discuss directly before taking out the plan. Always review the terms and conditions carefully.
It is important to tell your family that you have a pre-paid funeral plan and inform them of where the documents are. Should they not have the paperwork they can still contact the Funeral Planning Authority (FPA) who act as the industry regulators to see if a plan exists and to inform your chosen provider.
